Kashi rocks!

There is always something Kashi in our house.  From the time Jude was eating snacks, we had "c bars" on hand - always.  I even created my own cereal bar recipe ages ago because Jude was consuming so many!  So when Moms Meet asked if I'd like to share some Kashi goodies with my mom pals and tell my readers about how DELICIOUS their Peanutty Dark Chocolate Granola Bars are - you bet I said OHHH YES!

Everyone who tasted these said the same thing (well, every mom - every KID just stuffed their face and said, "Mmm!")  - that they weren't "too sweet."  I'll admit, when I saw the bars at first, I thought that it would be mess central, but alas, no!  The chocolate isn't... melty.  Is that a word?  It's more of a paste (that doesn't sound appealing, right?  ha!) but however you say it, one thing rocks - NO MESS.  No chocolate granola covering your kid's face - yahoo!  And your kiddo thinks he's getting a major treat, but guess what?  4 grams of protein in every bar!  For the average 29-pound toddler, that's 25% of his recommended daily intake of protein.

So, if you're looking for a fun, tasty way to incorporate some grains, protein, and fiber in your little one's diet, check out Kashi's new, delicious Peanutty Dark Chocolate Layered Granola Bars.  Mmm!  And while you're at it, give 'em a like on Facebook to get in the know!
